In a little over two years Signature Analytics has expanded its headquarters in San Diego to 3 different markets, received third place on SD Business Journal’s fastest growing private companies list in 2016 and placed on the INC 500 list. We are looking for an in-house, full time Content Marketing Strategist to play a critical role in our growth during this exciting time!

We provide outsourced accounting and financial services to small and mid-size companies in a variety of different industries. Our highly experienced team of accounting and finance professionals provide our clients with the ongoing accounting support and financial analysis necessary to more effectively run their company, analyze operations, and guide business decisions

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

  • Have strong skills as an editor, researcher, and writer with a willingness to refine a project until it’s ready
  • Know how to get into the minds of an audience and produce content that will resonate
  • Understand what types of content and in what combination are best used to achieve desired goals
  • Know how to oversee a project from start to finish, delegating where appropriate
  • Understand how digital publications and media work, and where content marketing fits into the bigger picture
  • Have an eye for design when creating visually appealing marketing collateral

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and manage the corporate content strategy for Signature Analytics marketing initiatives
  • Create compelling content for brochures, email campaigns, blog articles, press releases, editorials, whitepapers, e-books, and more to fit multiple style guides and formatting guidelines
  • Edit visual content such as interactive infographics, quizzes, and animated videos
  • Provide design direction to graphic designers as needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or related field
  • 3-5 years of editorial, content, or digital marketing experience preferred
  • Impeccable writing and editing skills — outstanding command of the English language
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, project management, and time management skills
  • Deadline oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities

NICE TO HAVE

  • SEO knowledge/experience
  • Understanding of digital and content marketing, and how they work together
  • Experience managing a blog/publication or team of writers
